WHAT MAKES THE TSA SERIES

A metal shell that carries the impact load itself.

Full Metal Outer Shell

The housing is metal end to end, so the body absorbs direct mechanical hits from strikers and workpieces. Heavy equipment stations mount the switch where contact happens, and the shell is rated for that duty.

Swing Arm Up To ±95°

Lever models sweep as far as ±95° before the mechanism binds. That travel soaks up striker overshoot and leaves room for mounting tolerance on frames that shift under load.

Indexed Levers And Roller Options

Lever models index in 22.5° steps, so the arm angle resets during commissioning when the striker path moves. Plunger versions accept an optional plastic roller for sliding contact surfaces.

Stainless Idler Wheel, Punch And Spring

The idler wheel, punch and spring come in stainless steel as standard. These three parts see friction on every cycle, and stainless keeps their geometry stable across the full service life.

M18×1.5 Cable Gland

The series uses an M18×1.5 conduit entry. The gland seals the cable at the shell and keeps the IP65 rating intact at the wiring point.

The TSA series targets heavy-duty machinery where the switch body takes direct hits. See how the range splits by duty level on the limit switch category page.

WHERE TSA FITS

Built for stations where the switch gets hit.

Crane & Hoist

Frame and slider limit points on cranes and hoists see repeated mechanical contact. The metal shell carries those hits, and the 500,000-operation electrical life matches long duty cycles.

Automated Parking

Carriage platforms need limit detection at the frame edge where pallets arrive under load. TSA swing arms track the platform travel, and the shell tolerates the occasional hard stop.

CNC & Machine Tools

Axis hard limits sit at the end of travel where carriages arrive at speed. The IP65 seal keeps coolant mist out, and plunger heads give repeatable trip points cycle after cycle.

QUICK MODEL SELECTION GUIDE

Match the striker to the right actuator.

01

Vertical striker actuation

The striker travels straight down onto the head. Pin plungers give the tightest trip point, and the roller plunger suits strikers with slight lateral drift.

02

Lever actuation with sweeping strikers

The striker sweeps across the switch from the side. Lever models run at a light 3.92N operating force and swing up to ±95° to absorb overtravel.

03

Large runout or multi-direction approach

The striker vibrates, bounces or arrives from shifting directions. Spring actuators trigger from any angle at 1.47N and absorb the variation.

04

Stations with heavy impact on the body

The switch mounts where workpieces or machine frames strike the housing directly. Pick any TSA model for the metal shell, then choose the head by striker geometry.
