APPLICATIONS · CNC & MACHINE TOOLS
A switch on a machine tool detects positions, guards doors, and stops axes at their limits. Working conditions on the machine floor decide which series fits which position.
THE DEMANDS
Most switch positions on a machine tool face oil mist, coolant spray, or the cleaning hose. Sealing is part of the design from the first drawing.
Doors and axis limits cycle thousands of times a week on a machine that runs in shifts. The mechanism has to respond the same way at the end of a shift as at the start.
Machines that expose moving tools carry interlocked guard doors under the regulations of most export markets. The guard switches built for those doors open their contacts mechanically.

Machine builders and service teams usually arrive with the model on the old switch. We confirm the match on mounting, travel, and ratings, and send a sample for the first retrofit.
Datasheets list operating force, travel, and ratings per model. The engineer can check the fit against the machine drawing before the first order.
A machine tool uses position, safety, and sealed switches. Ordering them from one source keeps the approval file and the spare parts list together.
BUILT FOR THE LONG RUN
When a machine is down for service, the switches can be checked in the same pass. These are the points that show wear before it stops a shift.
BUILT TO LAST
Tell us about the machine: axis count, guard layout, coolant and washdown conditions, and the export region. Our engineering team will recommend the switch for each position.
