T4NS Safety Door Interlock Switch

A key interlock for guard doors: pulling the key out opens the NC contacts through a certified direct opening mechanism. The head installs in four directions and ships set for front-side mounting, in plastic or metal.

WHAT MAKES THE T4NS SERIES

How the T4NS Guards a Door.

Certified Direct Opening Mechanism

Removing the key pulls the NC contact 11-12 apart through a certified positive-opening link. On B-type models the second NC contact 31-32 carries the same certification.

Four-Direction Head in Plastic or Metal

The F head is engineering plastic and the D head is metal. Each head rotates into four orientations and ships preset for front-side mounting.

IP66 With 400 V Insulation Rating

The sealed body reaches IP66 and a 400 V rated insulation voltage. The rating is 3 A at 240 VAC with an electrical life above 300,000 operations.

Defined Key Forces

The key inserts at 14.7 N max and extracts at 29.42 N max. A forced pull-out needs at least 58.84 N over 10 mm, which keeps casual tugs from defeating the interlock.

Four Keys for Different Doors

K1, K2, K3 and K5 match different door styles and swing geometries. All keys follow an insertion radius of R200 mm or larger.

Guard points that also need a latched trip state pair well with the T4NR manual reset series.

WHERE T4NS FITS

Doors That Machines Depend On.

CNC & Machine Tools

Machining cabin doors carry the key on the door leaf. Opening the cabin withdraws the key and the control circuit sees the certified contact change.

Injection Molding

Safety gates around the clamping area interlock with T4NS heads. Gate position feeds the machine safety relay on every cycle.

Conveyor & Sorting

Maintenance access doors along conveyor lines mount the compact body directly on the frame. A opened door drops the drive circuit through the NC contact.

QUICK MODEL SELECTION GUIDE

Choose by Door Style and Mounting Side.

01

Standard hinged door, front-side mounting

The switch sits on the frame face beside the door. K1 and K2 front-side combinations cover the common hinged-door layouts.

02

Mounting surface above the door

Space exists on the top rail rather than the frame face. Top-mounting combinations turn the head upward for the same keys.

03

Compact doors or tight swing radius

Small access panels and doors with a restricted arc need a shorter key path. K3 and K5 suit these tighter geometries.

04

Safety circuit asks for two NC contacts

A dual-channel safety relay monitors two positively opened contacts. Specify the B type, which brings 2NC with both channels certified.
