T4NR Manual Reset Limit Switch

After tripping, the T4NR locks out and a blue button resets it by hand. The machine stays stopped until a person confirms the area, backed by a forced disconnect mechanism inside.

WHAT MAKES THE T4NR SERIES

Why the T4NR Holds Its Tripped State.

Lockout After Actuation

Once the head trips, the mechanism latches and the contacts stay open. An operator presses the blue reset button to return the switch to service, so the machine restarts after a person has checked the area.

Gold-Clad Contacts Across Load Levels

Standardized gold-clad contacts switch microloads from DC5V 1mA and standard loads up to AC250V 10A. One contact block covers signal circuits and power-level safety circuits.

IP66 With M20 Gland As Standard

The sealed body reaches IP66 for washdown and dusty stations. Every model ships with an M20×1.5 conduit entry, and connector versions drop straight into existing panels.

Forced Disconnect NC Contacts

The NC contacts open through a positive mechanical link per EN60947-5-1. A fused contact still gets pulled apart when the actuator reaches its disconnect travel.

Slow-Action Contacts in Two Forms

The built-in contact holder comes as 1NC/1NO or 2NC, both slow action. The 2NC form gives the safety relay two positively opened channels.

For guard points that reset automatically, the T4N miniature safety series shares the same forced disconnect contact block in a self-resetting body.

Guard Points That Call for a Deliberate Restart.

CNC & Machine Tools

Machining zone guard doors interlock through T4NR heads. After a door trip, the spindle restarts after the operator resets the blue button at the door.

Crane & Hoist

Hoist upper-limit protection that latches at the overtravel point. The locked state keeps the lift stopped until maintenance confirms the cause.

Injection Molding

Safety gates on molding machines trip the T4NR when opened mid-cycle. Manual reset adds a human confirmation step before the clamp closes again.

QUICK MODEL SELECTION GUIDE

Pick the Head That Matches Your Striker Motion.

01

Striker comes straight down

A cam or gate edge presses vertically onto the head. Top plunger models take axial loads, and the ball version tolerates slight lateral drift.

02

Striker sweeps past the head

A sliding guard or rotating part crosses the switch position. Roller levers convert that sweep into a clean trip at a 6.45 N locking force.

03

Striker path finalized on site

The exact contact point gets set during commissioning. Adjustable arms re-position the roller or ball after the switch is mounted.

04

Side approach in a tight corner

The striker arrives from one side with limited mounting depth. Cantilever ball heads take the load horizontally or vertically from a single-side mount.
