WHAT MAKES THE HL SERIES

A head structure built around large overtravel.

Unique Head Structure for Large OT

The head geometry gives every actuator a generous overtravel allowance. Striker overshoot is absorbed inside the travel reserve, so the contact action stays smooth cycle after cycle.

Easy-Wire Conduit Opening

The conduit opening is shaped for straightforward cable entry. Wiring time on the panel stays short, and the gland seals the entry to the IP65 level of the rest of the housing.

Operating Force Scales With Arm Length

Adjustable levers let the arm length set the operating force. Catalog reference values show HL-5030 dropping to 3.09N at a 75mm arm, and HL-5050 reaching 1.60N at a 145mm rod.

Ridged Mating Surfaces

The head, box and cover mate along ridged surfaces. The interlocking faces keep the assembled unit rigid and maintain its strength under repeated actuation.

Full Actuator Coverage

Lever, plunger and spring heads all mount on the same body. One series covers direct strikers, lateral approach and multi-direction triggers across a whole machine line.

The HL series is positioned for dry indoor stations on printing, forming and light industrial machines. For oily, wet or outdoor stations, see the WL and TZ-3 sealed series.

WHERE HL FITS

Built for machines where strikers overshoot.

CNC & Machine Tools

Forming equipment drives its slides and rams to fixed stops, and striker depth varies with die wear. The large overtravel head takes the extra stroke and keeps switching action consistent.

Conveyor & Sorting

Light-duty conveyor lines flag package positions with rollers and paddles of mixed heights. Spring and lever heads forgive the height spread, so one switch point handles varied product flow.

Injection Molding

Molding machines confirm mold open and close positions at the outer edges of the stroke. Overtravel reserve absorbs the cam overshoot that builds up as the toggle mechanism wears in.

QUICK MODEL SELECTION GUIDE

Match the striker’s travel to a model.

01

Vertical striker actuation

The striker moves vertically onto the head along a fixed path. Plunger models give a precise operating position, and the sealed version suits dustier stations.

02

Lever arm actuation

A cam or striker sweeps the lever from the side. Fixed, adjustable and large-roller levers cover different sweep widths and approach angles.

03

Large runout or multi-direction triggers

The trigger arrives from shifting directions or with heavy bounce. Coil spring and spring wire heads respond from any direction at a light 1.47N.

04

Strikers with heavy overshoot

The cam keeps traveling well past the operating point. Every lever model carries 50° minimum overtravel, so the extra stroke is absorbed inside the head reserve and the mechanism stays smooth.
