The TZ-7 is a horizontal enclosed switch built around a standard basic switch, giving high repeat accuracy at every point. The enclosed housing adds mechanical strength plus dust-proof and drip-proof protection beyond what a basic switch offers.
WHAT MAKES THE TZ-7 SERIES
The switching heart is a standard basic micro switch. That core gives the TZ-7 its high repeat accuracy, cycle after cycle.
The closed housing shields the core from dust and dripping liquid. Stations that demand more protection than a bare basic switch move to the TZ-7.
Contacts switch 10A at 250VAC and reach an electrical life above 500,000 operations. The rating covers general machine control loads directly.
Panel mount versions keep the identical operating position as the Z basic switch. A machine designed around the basic switch takes the enclosed upgrade in place.
Plunger, panel mount, hinge lever, roller lever and coil spring heads cover vertical, lateral and multi-directional actuation. One series handles the whole machine layout.
For open-frame basic switches in the same family, see the TM-1 series page.
WHERE TZ-7 FITS
Horizontal mounting points along conveyor frames where packages sweep past the actuator. Lever and roller heads track moving loads at line speed.
Â
Lateral travel mechanisms in parking lift platforms. The enclosed body stands up to dust in the pit while the basic switch core holds position accuracy.
Horizontal detection points on machine slides and guards. Panel mount versions drop into the same cutout that held the basic switch before.
QUICK MODEL SELECTION GUIDE
01
The striker presses straight down on the head. Plunger models deliver the firmest, most repeatable trip point.
02
The switch sits behind a panel and the actuator passes through the opening. Panel mount versions share the basic switch operating position.
03
A cam or carriage sweeps across the lever. Standard, short, roller and one-way levers cover different travel and force windows.
04
The striker path varies or arrives off-axis. The coil spring head accepts approach from multiple directions at light force.
